If you were presented with a situation where you had to make a hard decision, what would you do? If Someone was in need of help and only you were capable of doing it, would you do it regardless of who the person was and what happened?With the release of Daredevil Season 2 on Netflix, it got me thinking about what would happen if I were put into a situation of helping someone who needed it, even if they were a vigilante. Claire Temple, a skilled nurse at a hospital, finds a very badly injured Daredevil and has to make a choice, helping the man who is bloodied and cut and risk your own safety of putting yourself into the mix, or leaving the person to find help elsewhere... and of course, she takes the former.
What if someone was dangling off a cliff and you had the equipment to help them while risking your own life? It's a scary idea, but I'm sure all of us would help the person if put into that situation.
When working in the medical field, your top priority over anything else is caring for the patients. You go out of your way to help someone in desperate need of help. Personally, I think I would make the same choice Claire did. She helped Daredevil to recover and allow him to get back on the streets, defending the people of Hell's Kitchen.

ReplyDeleteThis post makes a very good point. Personally I would go out my way to help someone if they were in need. Also being in the medical field I know can sometimes be tough job, just thinking about how you may have a patient that may be at the point of death and you have to do everything you can to save that persons life.
